At Healy Scanlon Law Firm, we take the safety of others as a serious concern. This concern shows not only in the types of cases we handle, but also in the things we do when we are not in the courtroom.
We are proud to have obtained for our clients over 50 verdicts and settlements in excess of a million dollars.
Our Chicago law firm focuses on serious personal injury cases involving products liability, motor vehicle accidents, construction accidents and nursing home neglect. We are very proud of our results. Our attorneys have obtained numerous multimillion-dollar recoveries for our clients, including several verdicts and settlements over $20 million. Our cases have also helped to get dangerous consumer products off the market and held interstate trucking companies accountable when they put profits ahead of safety.
Not all of our successes are in the courtroom. Martin Healy Jr., while he was president of Illinois Trial Lawyers Association, initiated the Bike Helmet Project in Illinois. This program provides free distribution of bike helmets to children in the Chicago area to help keep them safe when riding bikes. Every year 350,000 children under the age of 15 go to the hospital emergency rooms with bike-related injuries. Of those, 130,000 suffer head injuries. Wearing helmets can prevent 80 percent of deaths and 88 percent of brain injuries from bicycle crashes.
Our Chicago car accident attorneys receive a lot of satisfaction in helping injured people recover their lives as fully as possible after a construction or truck accident. We never represent corporations or insurance companies. We handle all cases on a contingency fee basis, which means that we charge no fees unless we are successful in recovering compensation for our clients.
Our law firm is small enough to provide personal service to our clients, but big enough to take on the largest manufacturers in the country and around the world. We have handled auto defect cases against all the major U.S. automakers and most foreign automakers. We are located in downtown Chicago overlooking the Daley Plaza, and the Daley Center, one of the largest litigation centers in the country.
There is never a charge to discuss your case with one of our Illinois personal injury lawyers. Evening and weekend consultations are available. To speak to us, call 312-977-0100 or 312-ABOGADO or send us an e-mail. Se habla español.
Per Governor Pritzker’s recent request that workplaces reduce their workforce and work remote whenever possible, please be advised that our office remains open, but many employees will be working remotely until the end of the month. Mail, voicemail, and emails will be received. We thank you for your patience during this period of time.
